Tony Russell-Rose is director of UXLabs, a research and design consultancy specialising in complex search and information access applications. Previously Tony has led R&D teams at Canon, Reuters, HP Labs and BT Labs, and seems happy to work for pretty much any organisation that has 'Labs' in the title. He has a PhD in HCI and is author of "Designing the Search Experience" (Elsevier, 2012). |
AcademiaMax L. WilsonMax is a lecturer in Human-Computer Interaction in the Mixed Reality Lab at the University of Nottingham, has had work published at several of the prior HCIR workshops, and at key related conferences and journals. Max holds an MEng and PhD in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Southampton, and publishes widely in the space between HCI and Information Science. |
Kristian NorlingKristian Norling is an industry consultant on web technology and enterprise systems, previously working with Findwise AB. Kristian engages in joint academic and industry events, including Intranatverk2013 in Sweden. He likes future of management, design, agile, web standards, open data, biz dev, open source and quantified self. |
Birger LarsenBirger Larsen is an Associate Professor at the Royal School of Library and Information Science in Denmark. Birger received his PhD in Library and Information Science from the very same school, and publishes widely with a systems focus on Interactive Information Retrieval. |
Preben HansenPreben Hansen is an Associate Professor at the University of Stockholm, with research interests in Collaborative Information Seeking and Retrieval, Task-based and Context-based Information Access, Patent IR, Evaluation issues and User studies in real-life environments. |
