Tony Russell-RoseTony Russell-Rose is director of UXLabs, a research and design consultancy specialising in complex search and information access applications. He is also vice-chair of the BCS Information Retrieval group and chair of the IEHF Human-Computer Interaction group. Previously Tony has led R&D teams at Canon, Reuters, Endeca, HP Labs and BT Labs. He is author of "Designing the Search Experience" (Elsevier, 2012) and publishes widely on IR, HCI and NLP. |
Max L. WilsonMax is an Assistant Professor in Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Nottingham, publishing HCIR related work at conferences like ACM SIGCHI and IIiX, and in journals like JASIST and IP&M. Max is the author of "Search User Interface Design", a book on HCI focused issues for information systems. Max holds an MEng and PhD from the University of Southampton. |
Kristian NorlingKristian Norling is an industry consultant on web technology and enterprise systems, previously working with Findwise AB. Kristian engages in joint academic and industry events, including Intranatverk2013 in Sweden. He likes future of management, design, agile, web standards, open data, biz dev, open source and quantified self. |
Birger LarsenBirger Larsen is a Professor at Aalborg University in Copenhagen. Birger received his PhD in Library and Information Science from the Royal School of Library and Information Science, and publishes widely with a systems focus on Interactive Information Retrieval. |
Preben HansenPreben Hansen is an Associate Professor at the Stockholm University, with research interests in Collaborative Information Seeking and Retrieval, Task-based and Context-based Information Access, Patent IR, Evaluation issues and User studies in real-life environments. |
