During tutee meetings with personal tutees and incoming/outgoing exchange students I used to promise sending links to further information. To make my life easier and to offer this information to all students, I have collected these links and posted them below. I usually update them once per year.

Please read carefully! Register with a GP: When you begin your studies at the University of Nottingham (UoN), it is very important that, you register with local health services as soon as possible. Please read carefully! Phishing Attacks and Scams: (1) If you get a phone call that looks like it is from a bank but you are not sure who is ringing, do not answer. If you think it was a call from your bank, ring the bank on the number you have on the back of your bank card or from online banking and check. (2) If you receive an unexpected email, phone call or letter from someone who claims to be from the Home Office, it may be a scam. The Home Office will never contact you to ask for money or your personal details.
